Peter Kuria's family has been farming coffee in Solai, Kenya since 1983, and they had just recently expanded their operation into exporting their coffees to the states when we met him in the summer of 2021. CREDO was among the first in the US to offer his coffee as a limited batch, and now it's become a regular part of our offerings. 

Back in Solai, Kenya, Peter's family helps neighboring farmers mill and sort their coffees and are working towards developing their community and helping other farmers gain access to better markets and higher prices. Now, as we continue to strengthen the economic ties between our communities, we partnering to bring you his full lineup, making your impact on their operations and community more direct than ever.

We source all of our coffees as directly as possible. And while that means that for most of our coffees about 35% of the retail price goes directly into farmer's hands, our unique relationship with Peter allows us to pass over _% directly to the producers. To the laborers all they produce!

Since we roast Peter's coffee for ourselves, you'll see that some of these options are the same coffees as you'll find on our main web store. But these roast profiles are unique to Peter's specifications, so if you pick it from here you'll find a new experience even with something familiar!
